Naturally love to dive deep into ideas, concepts, and the big picture. But in reality, I was stuck in "tutorial hell". The equivalent of reading books about how to swim without ever touching the water.

WHY STARTING IS OFTEN HARDER THAN LEARNING

I remember when I was learning data analytics and spending hours watching tutorials.

Excel
SQL
Python
Power BI

Every new lesson made me feel like I was getting closer to becoming a data analyst.

But when it was time to open a blank power BI page and build something from scratch, I suddenly felt stuck.

What data should I use?
What should I analyze?
What if the dashboard looks bad?
What if I make a mistake?

I realized I wasn’t afraid of learning.

I was of afraid of starting.

It was easier to keep watching another tutorial than to create something that could actually be judged.

Eventually, I started working on projects anyway.

Some were messy. Some didn’t turn out the way I imagined. I had errors I didn’t understand and spent hours trying to figure them out.

But those mistakes taught me more than another tutorial could.

That’s when I understood something:

You don’t become confident and then start. You start, struggle, learn, and eventually become confident.
