“Hate speech should never be tolerated whether in Rwanda, the United States, or anywhere else in the world.” At #AspenSecurity, Minister @Vbiruta underscored a lesson drawn from Rwanda’s history: genocide began with hate speech, and preventing such rhetoric is essential to protecting lives and preserving peace.
The three days (Ayaamul bīd) sunnah fast in the Islamic month of Muharram starts tomorrow Sunday and ends on Tuesday.
Fast if you are able to, if not earn reward by reminding others. Remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers (Q51:55).
Baarakallahu Feekum.
Join us tomorrow as we officially unveil this beautiful project, The Little Muslims Journal!
My heart is filled with so much joy. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ’Alameen. Every step of this journey has been a reminder of Allah’s countless blessings and mercy.
Your love, prayers, and support have brought us this far, and your presence and continued support will mean so much to us.
We can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with you. See you tomorrow, In sha Allah!
Islamic Tales for Kids started as a dream I was afraid to pursue because I wasn’t sure I would succeed.
I remember my husband encouraging me to start something of my own. He saw potential in me long before I saw it in myself. I asked him, “What if it isn’t successful?” and he almost knocked my head that day, saying, “Why would you say that?”
Then came my birthday in April 2025. He gifted me ₦1 million, and I made a decision that day: I would use that money to build something meaningful. I bought a ring light, microphone, books, and other materials, and I revived my long-abandoned YouTube channel.
When summer came, I decided to work directly with children, and Alhamdulillah, it went beyond my expectations. We had 22 children from different parts of the world learning together.
Today, as I look at how far Islamic Tales for Kids has come, I can only say that it is by the mercy, favour, and grace of Allah. Every achievement, every milestone, every opportunity has come from Him.
To my dear husband, thank you for believing in me when I doubted myself. Thank you for your encouragement, your support, and for never giving up on me. You always said, “You will be great; you just don’t know it yet.”
May Allah bless everything that concerns you, increase you in goodness, grant you barakah in your wealth, health, and family, and enlarge your coast beyond your imagination. Ameen.
To my dad, whom I miss dearly, thank you for believing in me too. Your words of encouragement remain with me till today. May Allah have mercy upon you, forgive your shortcomings, and grant you Al-Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
To my wonderful siblings and friends, thank you for always cheering me on, encouraging me, and reminding me that I could do it even when I doubted myself. Thank you for every message, every prayer, every share, every recommendation, and every act of support.
May Allah bless you all abundantly, reward your kindness, ease your affairs, answer your prayers, and grant you success in this life and the next. May He fill your homes with barakah, happiness, and peace, and reunite us all in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
And to everyone who has supported me in ways I cannot even begin to mention, I say a heartfelt thank you. Your support, patronage, encouragement, prayers, and belief in me have all contributed to this journey. May Allah reward you beyond your expectations and make every kindness you have shown me a source of blessings for you and your loved ones. Ameen.
Most importantly, I thank Allah, the One who made all of this possible. There were moments of fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt, but Allah never abandoned me.
Never let go of the hand of Allah, no matter what life throws at you. Never give up. As long as you are alive, there is hope.
I am not perfect, and I still have a long way to go, but today my heart is full of gratitude.
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ’Alameen.
May this be only the beginning of greater things to come for Islamic Tales for Kids, The Little Muslims Journal, and every dream Allah has placed in my heart.
Ya Allah, accept it from me, bless it, and make it beneficial for generations to come. Ameen.

Islam provides practical solutions to everyday problems. If I loaned you N10m to buy a car, I can't charge 1k as inteest. But if I used the same N10m to buy your preferred car, I can resell it to you for N12m. The former is prohibited being it's Ribā, but the latter is permitted
Every time a bottle, food pack, nylon bag, or any waste is thrown from a vehicle onto the road, it may seem insignificant. However, when thousands of people do the same, our streets become littered, drainage channels become blocked, and the environment suffers.
What you throw away today can contribute to:
Flooding caused by blocked drains and waterways.
Environmental pollution and unpleasant surroundings.
Health risks from disease-causing pests and contaminated water.
Increased government spending on waste evacuation and road maintenance.
A negative image of our beautiful city.
A clean Lagos is not the responsibility of government alone - it is a duty we all share. Dispose of your waste properly, keep a waste bag in your vehicle, and use designated waste bins.
What you do: Throw waste on the road.
What you cause: Pollution, flooding, and environmental degradation.
What you should do: Keep your waste until you find a proper bin.
Keep Lagos Clean. Protect the Environment. Save Lives.

A specially designed umbrella has been developed for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, engineered in a way that allows users to avoid holding it by hand, thereby preventing fatigue during use.
Tomorrow is Monday.
Fast if you are able to, if not earn reward by reminding others.

As part of our sustained efforts to eliminate open defecation and improve public sanitation across Lagos State, we currently have 1,710 functioning public toilets strategically located across the state for residents and visitors.
However, government cannot do this alone. We are encouraging businesses such as filling stations, banks, eateries, and other public-facing facilities to make their restrooms accessible to the public where possible. This collaborative approach will significantly complement government efforts and expand access to sanitation facilities across the state.
At the same time, we continue to enforce environmental sanitation laws. Individuals caught engaging in open defecation are being arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law. These measures are necessary to protect public health, preserve dignity, and maintain a cleaner environment for all.
Access to sanitation is a shared responsibility. While government continues to expand infrastructure, residents and businesses must also play their part in ensuring Lagos remains clean, safe, and habitable.

Subhanallah 💔!
The death of a young person carries a different kind of weight.
This is my cousin Ahmed. We lost him today.
I’ve decided to drop his video here so that each time anyone listen to him recites, he will be rewarded.
May Allah SWT reunite us in Jannah 🙏🏾
