@ThoseSharpWords Needs Analysis! Prioritising, eg. spoken accuracy, working to catch up weaker skills, etc. I don't know about you but I don't really need to write in Russian, and when I do it's on my phone or online so I can rely on autocorrect.

@ThoseSharpWords I think it's really key for intermediate learners who are plateauing too. I think it was Hill who said building their lexical resource (namely collocations and chunks) is key to levelling up.

@ThoseSharpWords Yes, the talk seemed to be a mixture of teaching Russian lexically and teaching beginners. There are actually a few people teaching Russian lexically - I attended a debate about the topic 2 weeks ago.

Thought the idea of giving students criteria to help them decide what to focus on, and bearing them in mind ourselves, was a great way to cope with the sheer overload potential here. Very helpful suggestion from @MoreMsJackson.

@T_Bednar I haven't seen anything like it. Your workbook is for adults? Just looking at the layout, I think how appealing it would be for YLs, especially 9 or 10 year olds.
