@EmilySc31583886 Completing the Personal history profile of the PAL with residents in the company of their relatives can help foster relationships. The MOHO REIS is also a useful tool for considering how the environment is aiding/ hindering occupational participation.
@dr_robbrooks For me "functional ax" lends itself to things being done 'to' a person, rather than because it matters to them. We need to bring language back to the occupations and roles that matter, whilst recognising the circumstances that may be impacting on performance and participation
@CherylwilsonOT The fact that you are thinking so thoughtfully about the experience of a student speaks volumes about your qualities and suggests you are going to make a wonderful educator!
@soph_studentot @Tommymatts Congratulations Sophie, I know from Matt, Lisa and Jess what a wonderful difference you and Emily have made to the service. Wishing you all the best for the rest of your studies
@AdamFerry3 I find this question quite fascinating. Our profession is occupational therapy not functional therapy, and occupations are those activities that are meaningful and purposeful to the individual, so for me, those activities that derive pleasure are completely valid!
@CarolynHay@KalimahOT Hi Both, I'm really keen to watch these webinars, but cannot attend some of the dates, please can I ask how to access the recordings, including last nights?
The hierarchy of needs at home. I am not afraid to share that my basic physiological needs are not being met. The purpose is to work towards making them better. You can get my new poster template to help you here: https://t.co/aZMy2rIbpH
@MOHOspark @dr_robbrooks Sue, the work that you and @dr_robbrooks have done on occupational formulation, has helped take theoretical terminology and put it into everyday accessible language, highly valued not just by clinicians, but individuals accessing our services and wider audiences!
Occupational therapists!! Come and work in a fantastic team in our inpatient learning disability ward, delivering an evidence based, multi-disciplinary admission pathway to individuals with a high complexity of needs. #LearningDisability

@KILLdanyl@NatWest_Help@NatWest_Help I've had the same problem in multiple shops, but when I spoke to one of your advisors today I was informed that it was the Merchants issue and nothing wrong with my card, which isn't particularly helpful!
