In partnership with Embassy of Sweden, CREAW has signed agreements with 7 Women’s Rights Organizations from Tharaka-Nithi, Narok, Nairobi, Meru, and Marsabit counties whose work focuses on advancing gender equality in various focus areas including; addressing GBV, promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and young Women in leadership.

With only 0.13% of official development Assistance (ODA) reaching WROs, this partnership is a game-changer. It localizes funding, strengthens feminist leadership, and supports Women-Led organizations closer to the problem to be closer to the solutions ensuring resources reach those driving change at the community level.

We are exited about this partnership; by-investing in local women led organization, we are growing a vibrant ecosystem and promoting sustainable change in our communities.
