Sam - you were more than just a lovely actor to work with - refined, thoughtful, a skill second to none - you were a mentor, protector, and above all, friend. Thank you for making our scenes together feel so real. I will be forever grateful to have been on this journey with you.
It is six years since Jean went missing, please keep her family in your thoughts 🙏🏻
ANNIVERSARY APPEAL - JEAN TIGHE
Jean Tighe was 38 years old when she went missing on 13 July 2020 from Parede on the Cascais line in Lisbon, Portugal. She was last seen leaving the Help Yourself Hostel and it is understood she planned to meet someone.
Described as 5ft 5in (165cm) in height and of slim build, with blue eyes and mousey brown hair. The Munterconnaught native lived in Glasnevin, Dublin prior to going to Portugal to visit a friend in Carcavelos. When the Covid pandemic forced lockdown restrictions worldwide, Jean stayed in various hostels in the area.
There is great concern for Jean’s welfare exasperated by the length of time that has passed without any communication. Family are pleading for collaboration between Portuguese Police, Interpol and An Garda Síochána to investigate the circumstances into her disappearance.

#News: A major new chapter in the transformation of Liverpool’s historic waterfront has begun.
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, with @lpoolcouncil, has this morning launched a six-week public consultation on proposals to establish a Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) for Liverpool’s North Docks.
The consultation asks residents, businesses, landowners and stakeholders to approve the name of the MDC, its boundary and its proposed powers.
Subject to approval, the MDC will build on the momentum generated by the new @EvertonStadium at Liverpool Waters, transforming 174 hectares of brownfield land into a dynamic extension of Liverpool city centre.
Plans include the delivery of 5 million sq ft of new commercial space and up to 17,000 new homes as well as new urban green spaces and cultural amenities.
A map released alongside the consultation illustrates the scope of the proposed area, stretching from the stadium into Liverpool's Commercial District and out to the Pumpfields neighbourhood.
The proposed MDC would be overseen by a Mayoral Development Corporation which would act as a dedicated vehicle to accelerate delivery across the area – unlocking investment, coordinating development and ensuring the North Docks fulfils its potential as a major hub for innovation, clean growth and high-quality urban living.
The proposed body, which would have an independent board, would have powers to purchase land, raise monies and make planning decisions.
It would also bring together a series of major regeneration priorities, including:
➡️ Central Docks by Peel Waters
➡️ The £1bn Kings development by Beetham Davos Ltd
➡️ A major Grade A office development at Pall Mall by Kier Property Management & Real Estate LLC
➡️ The conversion of Stanley Dock’s historic warehouse complex by Harcourt Developments
➡️ Expansion of Liverpool Cruise Terminal by Global Ports Holding
@MetroMayorSteve, said: “Liverpool’s North Docks represents one of the most exciting regeneration opportunities anywhere in the UK.
“We want to build a new future here that honours its heritage, unlocks its potential and leaves a legacy that future generations can be proud of.
"I hope anyone with an interest in the success of the area will take the time to have their say and help shape what comes next.”

The statutory six-week consultation, will end at 11.59pm on Friday, 14 August.
After an analysis of the feedback, a report on the results of the consultation will be submitted to both the Combined Authority and City Council.

This was only ever aired once, and never released on VHS or DVD due to Michael Barrymore's arrested and cancellation. Jimmy Savile in Bob Martin doing the most hiding in plain sight cameo ever. Creepiest thing I've ever seen.
This is boss yano! Foo Fighters owe us absolutely nothing. They could've rocked up, done the shows and left! Like most have done and most will do in the future. To dedicate time to the local school and community and to give a peace of their time to kids speaks volumes as to who they are as people!
Thank you.
