If residency has taught me anything so far, it’s that please, for the love of God, get cultures and susceptibilities before consulting ID. #ImJustAsLostAsYou#CefTryThatOne#MedTwitter
It’s been a great first week of adult inpatient #rehab@UTHealthHouston#TIRRmh!!! 🦾 Seeing patients progress in their functionality has been such a rewarding experience showing me the importance of #teamwork and communication ❤️🩹 #Physiatry never fails to amaze me
One of the coolest gifts ever. The Braves athletic training staff gave me the framed and personalized lineup card from the day that Bear was born. Something Bear will have for the rest of his life and that very few people can say they have. Really, really cool. #grateful
RCT published 9/1.
Ultrasound guided LP-PRP injection showed superior benefits over corticosteroid injection for partial supraspinatus tears at 6-month follow-up.

@amandastvnsn @ericasara COVID Rehab doctor here. There are guidelines for athletes to return after Covid. Recommend 2 weeks off during Covid (if it was mild disease. Different if you had moderate or severe disease). Then slow return to play
5. People are more willing to help you than you expect. Just ask. Most everyone really does want you to succeed and be your best.
Excited to keep moving forward and to see what the next 47 months hold! @UTHPMR

As I come to the end of my first month of residency, here's some thoughts and reflections I've had along the way; a thread (or something like that)
1. This is a whole different world from med school. The pathologies, the responsibilities... (1/?)
4. No one feels prepared for this. It doesn't matter where they went to med school. This is, as I said before, a whole different world. We are here to learn, to make mistakes and to become better physicians. As long as i keep this in mind, I know i'll be okay. (6/?)
