CNN: You said Ukraine is going to ultimately win this war.
CARNEY: We, Germans, British, French, all share same view that tide has turned. Putin is going to lose this war. It’s only matter of time. From now until he realizes or accepts that, it’s absolutely senseless slaughter.
It's only Tuesday and Trump has fucked up a pool for $14 Million, lost a war agreeing to pay Iran $300 Billion, and ballooned his already expensive ballroom budget by another $200 Million.
Where are the Republicans screaming about "waste, fraud and abuse"?
To all those who promised Trump was committed to democratic regime change in Iran, you owe the Iranian people an apology. He just affirmed to respect the brutal dictatorship in Tehran. And to help them consolidate their power, he’s going to help them access hundreds of billions of dollars.
GOOD NEWS:
Hours after I visited the State Capitol w/ 1000s of Georgians, GA House Republicans announced they are backing down from gerrymandering our maps, potentially giving them two extra seats.
John Lewis never backed down from getting into good trouble, & I won't either.
What we're witnessing is an extraordinary display of dysfunction from a president who seems determined to turn America's national security into a political bargaining chip. Over the past two weeks, President Trump has careened from one personnel decision and political demand to the next – first installing Bill Pulte, then nominating Jay Clayton, then demanding unrelated legislation be attached to FISA reauthorization, and now threatening to derail both the confirmation process and a bipartisan reauthorization effort. At every turn, the president has injected more uncertainty into a process that should be focused on one thing: keeping the American people safe.
National security cannot be governed by social media post. The president's latest intervention only underscores a simple reality: the biggest obstacle to resolving these issues has not been Senate Democrats or Senate Republicans. It has been the chaos and confusion coming from the White House itself.
HUGE: I just led an “SOS” call on the Senate floor—Save Ocean Sensors—with Senator Lisa Murkowski!
The Senate unanimously passed our bipartisan bill to protect the Ocean Observatories Initiative—critical sensors that are essential for managing our fisheries, forecasting weather, and understanding climate change.
You and your vote are powerful—and this administration knows it. They’re afraid of it.

Donald Trump converted the White House into a money-making operation for himself, his family, and his closest advisors and biggest campaign donors. It's endless corrupt self-enrichment from a president who says he doesn't "think about Americans' financial situation.” No kidding.
Billionaire tax cuts are a policy choice.
Cutting healthcare for millions is a policy choice.
Cutting food assistance for children is a policy choice.
Taking from the poor and giving to the rich is a policy choice.
It does not have to be like this. https://t.co/3cM4EqXxLj
When we win, the first bill I’m filing is a comprehensive anti-corruption package:
Overturn Citizens United
Ban corporate PACs and super PACs
Ban members of Congress from trading stocks
Once we defeat the most corrupt politician in America, we can defeat this corrupt system.
To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years.
I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.
The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water.
Equipment taxpayers already bought and paid for, removed right as record temperatures and a possible collapse of Atlantic currents have scientists alarmed. There is no savings analysis. The gear is already paid for. And the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea, destroying the only tools that could measure the damage.
They are smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first.
The issue here isn't architecture. Or patriotism. It's the Constitution.
Congress passes our nation’s laws. And no president—regardless of party—has the authority to violate three separate laws on a project that Congress hasn't authorized.
