I disagree that "there is not enough writing going on in schools". I think we should focus on enhancing the writing to be better quality & to include writing that can benefit a student outside of school as well. I do not think we necessarily need more writing #csusmmiddlelevel27

I feel that teachers often don't catch the lack of revisions between drafts in time to call the students on their lack of improvement prior to the final draft. Peer revision is good in theory but accountability is necessary during this process also. #csusmmiddlelevel27

Although it is very scary to be vulnerable, students should be able to see a teacher occasionally struggling with writing during modeling exercises because it reinforces that struggle is a central part of the writing process for everyone, even the teacher. #CSUSMMiddleLevel27
