@adrianweckler For sure, they are bound to take the cautious approach, but it's good to see Vodafone Ireland leading the way here in Europe, most of the news is from the U.S. with AT&T being the largest partner.
@adrianweckler Fair, my personal phone is actually on Eir. Regardless, Vodafone/AST coverage will provide 5G on unmodified phones up to 120Mbps with no blackspots. Game changer. https://t.co/eNQxzJ2rN7
@adrianweckler Incorrect to base the market demand on the supposed % of non-coverage. I go down to 3G when I walk to my gate. 4G/5G terrestrial regularly drops out.
@adrianweckler Vodafone leading the way here in Ireland, partnering with AST Spacemobile is going to be a winner, Starlink is a few years behind in Direct-to-cell technology(text messaging and SOS only)
@eyewitnessrecs@hello__meteor Nice, grabbed mu & mea and Swift, dark water. The postage and tax to Ireland was just too much to take for the bundle.
@bronnaghOS @davepaulkeegan@PhotosOfDublin Whitechurch in Rathfarnam, you can see the Beacon hospital not too far away in the lower right hand side. I tracked across from it on google satellite
@darren21188@VirginMediaIE@VirginMediaIE Experiencing the same. Annoyingly this virgin media hub seems to keep the local wifi connection disabled at this point so I canβt even log into it to see the modem network status and logs.
