I had a productive discussion with the newly elected President of the @COECongress of the Council of Europe, Gunn Marit Helgesen, and the Secretary General of the Congress, @MoriMathieu.

We discussed Ukraine’s institutional readiness to prepare for the electoral process, which will take place once the necessary security conditions are in place. For future elections to be effective and transparent, it is critically important to clearly delineate responsibilities so that every authority and participant in the process has a precise understanding of their role.

We also focused on the role of international platforms, particularly the Ukraine Recovery Conference. This is not merely a diplomatic event, but a practical tool that must be fully leveraged to advance all key priorities of our recovery. In this context, we also discussed practical aspects of regional cooperation, since it is at the level of communities and regions that strategic plans are ultimately implemented.
