Caffeine not hitting? Still nodding off in a session? #AACR25 Conference hack: Eat hard candy. Brain needs glucose. Subtle to consume. No coffee breath. π
Day 4 of #AACR: ATTENDED THE MOST INTERESTING SESSION EVER (completely unbiased) on comparative oncology, hosted by THE Amy Boddy, ate the saddest brekkie sandwich, saw my fellow ungulates and admired the chicago nighttime skyline.
Day 3 of #AACR25: Made some new friends, sick riffs and tuba blasts from the Checkpoints. And the exhibit hall that made me feel poor af and envious of labs that can afford ultra cool technnology. The whale is getting lots of love, as he deserves!
Day 2 of #AACR25: Utilized the special, whale-sized transportation receptacle, went to the AACR Career Fair (Was I convinced to do a post-doc???), attended the first plenary session of the conference, and got meaningful life advice from the local taco joint.
Day 1 of #AACR25: Had all of Lake Michigan get dumped on our heads on the way to the bean, enjoyed a cheese and chorizo bagel, got 20000 steps in going through the venue one way, and had a great pulled pork sandwich.
Last day of #CCRC2023:
Speedrunning all the posters still up, Dr. Aaron Goodarzi's lung cancer and Radon talk (sprinkled with film references) and the whale adopted a lobster on the way home. Overall, a really informative and pleasant conference experience!!
Day 1 of #CCRC2023 : Inspiring opening session, got my poster up and advertised, and got a seat at the highly anticipated and well attended talk by Dr. Tak Wah Mak
