I'm building a delightful supplement brand with my best friend and younger brother.
My name is John Choi, and I’m a co‑founder of MorningDew.
MorningDew offers the easiest and tastiest way to take L‑citrulline, supporting fast recovery, boosting exercise performance, and promoting heart health.
The best part? No powder. No pills.
I thought it would be fun to document the entire process of launching a supplement company in real life.
If you’re interested, follow me and my brother on this journey.
I also decided to run a pull‑up challenge as a promotion and to push myself in something that I don't like doing, just because.
I think sleep is by far one of the easiest ways to improve your life.
There is so much good information out there about how sleep can improve both your mental and physical health.
But one thing I didn’t know is that sleeping longer could naturally reduce how much you eat.
Don’t start with fancy supplements or expensive gym subscriptions.
Start with your sleep and your food.

@BioavailableNd There’s a quote I read years ago that has been stuck in my head ever since.
It goes something like this: no matter how rich or powerful you become, there’s one thing you can never buy more of, and that’s time.
I was talking to a friend this weekend and he reminded me of something very basic that I haven’t stopped thinking about since.
Sometimes it’s so easy to get lost in all the new and fancy things and lose sight of the bigger picture, which is simply to be healthy and happy.
New supplements, new movements, new diets, new methods, and so on. It’s easy to get distracted because they’re what everyone is talking about. And you start to think that if everyone is talking about it, it must be good for you.

I felt like I was 10 pounds heavier today. Maybe because I did them in the evening but still... I was so shocked by how heavy I felt.

@BernardoFariaJJ Do you prefer holding the shin or the head? Sometimes I feel like they can just sit up when I hold my shin, especially if they are bigger than me.
Fridays always make morning push‑ups a pain, because it’s Friday and I am feeling extra lazy, and my kid could be up early or still dreaming. Still, I knocked them out!

Your arteries need some flexibility.
That’s one reason this L-citrulline study caught my attention.
Researchers studied 15 men around age 58 who had elevated arterial stiffness.
They compared 5.6g of pure L-citrulline daily with a placebo for seven days.
The L-citrulline group showed a significant improvement in a measure of arterial stiffness compared with placebo.
Researchers measured how quickly a pressure wave traveled from the arm to the ankle. Faster wave travel generally indicates stiffer arteries.
That measurement decreased in the L-citrulline group.
Their blood pressure didn’t change significantly compared with placebo. So the interesting finding here was specifically about artery stiffness.
Seven days and 15 people make this an early finding. It doesn’t establish that L-citrulline prevents heart disease.
But it helps explain why researchers are interested in this ingredient for cardiovascular health.
I’m sharing what I learn as we build @drinkmorningdew and make L-citrulline easier and tastier to take.
There’s a lot to understand about this ingredient. This is another piece of the research worth knowing about.

My body feels good! It's time to increase the volume, but I keep asking myself, “Should I commit to a bare minimum and finish this challenge? It’s already hard enough, right?” Still, I will, because it wouldn’t be a challenge if it didn’t challenge me mentally and physically.

Your body already makes L-citrulline.
I think more people should know what it does.
L-citrulline is an amino acid that helps your body make arginine. Arginine is used to produce nitric oxide.
Nitric oxide helps your blood vessels relax and widen. That supports blood flow throughout your body.
And blood carries the oxygen and nutrients your muscles need when you’re putting in work.
That’s a big part of what makes L-citrulline interesting to me.
It also isn’t a stimulant. For people interested in supporting their workouts without adding more caffeine to their day that’s another reason to look into it.
This is the ingredient we’re building @drinkmorningdew around.
We’re making it easier and tastier to take in a liquid stick pack.
No powder.
No pills.
No clean ups.
Just tear it open and take it.
Have you tried L-citrulline or are you just learning about it?
If you want to grow your biceps, do angled chin‑ups with a pause at the top, squeezing your biceps. I guarantee you’ll get your gymnast’s biceps.

I got them done this morning at the gym and spent 30 minutes in the sauna afterward. It felt good to sweat again, but I wanted to hit the mats and roll...
