@teslainventory Compared to this time yesterday, we are only down 1 kW. Currently producing 10.6 kW. Yesterday at the same time, it was 11.6 kW. Of course the clouds could be different today. It will be interesting to see the peak output later.
@skystruckcrypto@teslainventory @JeffDartony @Tesla Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation is most likely correct. There is no motive because those images are not photoshopped.
@justincbzz@Tesla It hit ALL of the solar panels. Some were as hard as rocks. Others were soft and slushy. The hard ones damaged the panels and then subsequent ones continued to damage those panels.
@skystruckcrypto @JeffDartony @Tesla A coworker posted pictures of several huge trees blown over in her backyard, yet her aluminum deck furniture didn't move at all. Should I ask her if they were photoshopped?
@SizeMichael@Tesla Too soon to say since it just happened. After the storm, it hit 9 kW when the sun came back out. Yesterday before the storm, it peaked at 20.1 kW.
@JeffDartony @skystruckcrypto@Tesla We'll have video and more pictures later but it is 100% real. Based on the damage, it looks like some big hailstones caused initial damage which then allowed other hailstones to continue to damage the broken panels. EVERY panel was hot by hail. Fortunately not all were damaged.
@skystruckcrypto@Tesla Neither did we until yesterday. On Wednesday, we had golf ball sized hail and no damage. Thursday, the hail was tennis ball sized, the largest I've ever experienced. It lasted meant half an hour. Luckily only 9 panels were damaged!
@mrkylefield@teslainventory@Tesla We think that some got hit by big hail stones which weakened them. That's probably why all of the broken ones have multiple impacts.
@HailTrace@teslainventory Morrison, just south of Red Rocks. Luckily there wasn't a concert going on earlier today. It would've been much worse than last night's storm.
@Photog_Storm @teslainventory Last night we had golf ball sized hail and that's probably the largest we've had in nearly 30 years. Today, tennis ball sized!
