You don’t “testify” in a deposition. You are “deposed” so that you can then testify with both parties asking questions based on your deposition answers.

So please stop insulting our intelligence by trying to make it look like the Republicans don’t want to see Hunter in front of them in a public forum. They do, but only after he’s been deposed under oath, like every other person would be in a similar investigation in Congress or the judicial system system
