Resource Worker @TUIunion members feel aggrieved by their T&C's when compared to teacher colleagues who do the same work in the same way. Many RWs are qualified teachers & have a teaching role. A pathway to recognition of the teaching element of RW work must be found. #VoteMaura

@TUIunion members spend too much time on paperwork & not enough time doing the job they were trained & employed to do. Excessive & pointless administration is a distraction in teaching & learning. I am seeking the curtailment of creeping managerialism & bureaucracy in education.
The pupil teacher ratio is of vital importance to a quality education system. The lower the PTR the more curricular options & resources available to schools. Lowering the PTR means more teachers, a greater range of subject choices & more time for teaching & learning. #VoteMaura
Adult Tutors and Researchers are the worst treated cohort of @TUIunion members. They are hourly paid, endure precarious working conditions without an incremental salary or consistent holiday pay. I will intensify the fight for our most vulnerable members. #VoteMaura for TUI VP
