We had an old toilet from when we were doing the house up, hadn’t been used for years. Tip said can’t drop it off ‘builders waste’ so guess what - we smashed it up and took it back the next day - it was OK then as they didn’t know what it was!!

Just been down the tip. This is trade waste apparently even though I took it off in my front drive off my own private van. They say take it to a car scrap yard. Like they want a knackered bumper. This will get cut up and black bagged in our bin . Stupid rules

This is the City Barge pub in Chiswick right now. What do you notice? It’s 3pm and they’re open. It’s a sunny day. Yes, that’s right; they have had to remove all of the tables and chairs outside. They have had to destroy their own business. Why? Because Rick Rowe, a Green Party councillor on Hounslow council, who lives very, very, very close to this pub and complains about it almost daily, has banned all three pubs here on strand on the Green Chiswick, from having outside tables. I can only assume he hates pubs, hates business and hates the British way of life. This would usually be buzzing with people enjoying their afternoon. However, they’re the wrong sort of people for Rick.

Working in property, we can see already see the effects of this mad legislation - landlords leaving the market and many section 21's served, less property on the market, and property left over - gone up in price to accommodate. The state should not legislate the private sector.

You’re either completely unaware of the concept of consequences, or simply don’t care. But this legislation has and will continue to make it worse for renters, who’ll now face paying more for less choice, worse housing, and fewer options if they’re not wealthy.

The bike lane in Chiswick that was supposedly put in for speed - oops then changed to safety has seen more accidents in 4 years vs 4 years preceding it - all these safety measures seem to make things worse.

Another collision on Dalston Lane today. Thankfully, the school was in session & police have assured me nobody was hurt. Since LTNs this residential rd has seen a dramatic increase in serious rd accidents. Another result of @mayorofhackney sacrificing some roads. @hackneycitizen
