It's not fear that transforms, it's love. The fear of hell could never transform anyone. It will only make them more rebellious. Moses threatened, punished, even killed many of the people all his life and it made little difference. He himself failed spectacularly. Threats don't foster intimacy, they destroy it. It's not morality plus Christ, we mix nothing with the God-Life. It is CHRIST IN YOU. If HE says it's enough, then it is. That's how to walk in the faith of God.

When your needs are the reasons you turn up for a service, your needs will soon also be the reasons you stop turning up for it. The worship of needs is the worship of self. God is not a babalawo, cos idolatry sets itself up as spiritual service.

"Little children, keep yourselves from idols" is written to children because it's often spiritual infants who are trapped in these religious loops that keep recycling themselves in the African Church. The demon of religion exploits poverty trauma the most.

Let's get familiar with Christ so that we can know THE THINGS WHICH ARE FREELY GIVEN to us IN HIM. Learn Christ so that religion will not try to sell to you what you already have in Him.

Adam fell for exactly this same thing. He thought he had to WORK for his sonship. That's where religion started from. Religion discredits the relationship and complicates the inheritance of ONENESS we have with God in Christ Jesus.

If you pursue your needs, it will be an endless pursuit. You'll struggle with the same need constantly, and you'll have no room to settle down for the revelation of Christ. The cycle of neediness doesn't change, and its train never stops.
