Donald Trump and the GOP are trying to steal, suppress and gerrymander to stay in power. Elias Law Group has 83 active voting and election cases in 42 states. We will not stop fighting. We will not stop winning. ⚖️ 💪🗳️
Trump is exactly what we knew he was. The harshest questions and criticisms of journalism today and history tomorrow are about how a generation of Republican politicians, partisan media, and US voters willingly chose to ignore it for power.
New: The Washington Post reconstructed journalist Amal Khalil’s final hours in Lebanon found that Israel’s military denied rescuers access to her during a key period when she was still alive.

If there was any doubt before, there can be none after this week: The Supreme Court is going to give states free rein to discriminate against minority voters — even in some of the most egregious cases. https://t.co/aEqyznpFc0
“We all should be ‘really, really freaked out.’ Trump’s power grab over the executive branch is intensifying. Trump is less popular…But it’s as if he doesn’t expect elections to matter because he’s going to do everything he can for them not to matter.”

It’s repetitive but still vital to say. There is NOTHING to Trump’s vote fraud assertions. There was nothing to them in 2016. Nothing in 2020. Nothing in 2024. Nothing in 2026. NOTHING AT ALL.
This is a devastating interview.
Scott Pelley tells the NYT that Bari Weiss directly put a “thumb on the scale” for Trump over the killing of Renee Good.
Here’s his explanation of exactly what happened.
“A mythomaniac is a clinical and literary term for an extreme pathological liar. It describes someone whose lies are grand, deeply embedded in their identity, and told with complete, unbenched confidence.”
Not enough people know that the DOJ is keeping the part of Trump's IRS settlement in place that shields Trump and his family from IRS audits.
That's *extraordinarily* corrupt. Don't let it fly under the radar. https://t.co/4I2ovkLZQq
This is really stupid, and it’s not getting enough attention.
The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water, equipment taxpayers already bought, built, and sank into the deep ocean.
And they are doing it right when the oceans are behaving in ways that alarm the scientists who study them.
Record-breaking temperatures.
A system of Atlantic currents that may be lurching toward collapse.
The response?
Yank out the instruments and walk away.
That is not budgeting. That is smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire and calling it efficiency.
For what? The Trump administration dressed it up as a “nimbler approach” and “smart lifecycle management,” which is fancy nonsense for “we shut it off and hoped nobody would ask why.” There is no return-on-investment analysis. They cannot show taxpayers save a dime, because the gear is already paid for and the science it produces protects real money and real lives.
The kicker: the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea for minerals. So they are destroying the only tools that could measure what that mining does. That is not an accident.
That is the point. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first.

This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

Seems like a bait and switch. After predictable outcry, Trump DOJ pulls back slush fund for insurrectionists, but retains tax immunity for Trump. Was that the plan all along? It’s all corrupt.

Ossoff: "We see a faithless president self-dealing while he depicts as Christ, while he depicts the Obamas as apes, while he plunges the nation into reckless war, sends prices soaring, and plunders our healthcare to cut taxes for those who already have spectacular wealth."
MacFarlane: A whopper of a court filing just now from about three dozen retired former federal judges asking a court to stop this slush fund from proceeding and calling into question whether Trump and his own Department of Justice and IRS colluded to deceive the court
"The War Is Over." "The Strait Is Open." "We Totally Won."
Except, no. From declarations of victory and deals to vows of death and destruction -- @michaelcrowley@afishley_png@LazaroGamio look at Trump's dizzying string of untrue comments on Iran. https://t.co/T7hMDnbugD
This isn’t a post-apocalyptic movie scene.
This is what Israel is doing to South Lebanon.
Burning homes, shops, businesses and civilian infrastructure.
Not military targets.
Just deliberate destruction. Pure terror.
This is an American-backed, American-funded genocide.
