SHOULD SHE APOLOGIES?
After being confronted by the teachings of Jesus, Donald Trump issued a statement saying Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde should apologies to him and to the entire nation.
Your thoughts?
@RideMyAvatar It's crazy how this sentence can be almost exactly parroted to the transphobes trying to take away rights.
"just let people be themselves" so true bestie 👍🏻
“Nazi” isn’t a slur. It’s a word that describes real people who earnestly believe in their ideas. Their ideas are disgusting and hateful, but of course they often do not realize it.
I keep running into racists who think that it’s not white supremacist to think that white people are inherently superior to other races. No…that’s the whole definition!! The fact that they believe it earnestly and don’t think it’s an idiotic, hateful belief doesn’t mean it’s not an idiotic, hateful belief.
Nazi isn’t a word that means “bad evil boogeyman” it means “someone who believes in their own racial superiority, extreme protectionist nativism, the purifying of society by eliminating undesirables, expansionism, active suppression of dissent, and total state power held in the hands of a very small group.”
Make sure the people you’re cheering for don’t believe these things because otherwise…
I’ve been reflecting on this over the past day or so, and I’ve come to a realization.
Many of my friends on the center-right who are upset with me for making what I believe to be very obvious observations aren’t necessarily angry at me—they’re angry at the implications of what I’m saying.
The idea that neo-Nazism has entered the mainstream, potentially influencing the White House, is so alarming and existentially terrifying that it's easier to lash out at the messenger than confront the reality.
If they accept this, it means that the political home they've invested so much of their identity in, the movement they've championed for years, has become something so morally repugnant that accepting it feels like breaking their own brain.
The cognitive dissonance is overwhelming.
What's striking to me is the selective outrage. Many of these same people are quick to call everyone communists, often with little more than circumstantial evidence.
Yet, when it comes to countless instances of glaringly obvious signs of fascism in their own movement, they either look away or attack those pointing it out.
It’s not about pretending, man. It’s about treating a legitimate condition. Gender dysphoria is as real as depression or anxiety, and people deserve access to treatment, even if that includes surgical procedures.
We’re okay with people getting plastic surgery to pretend their appearance is better—so where’s the actual problem here?
And please save the bullshit argument involving kids. No one’s out here letting kids make permanent decisions without rigorous medical oversight. These are decisions made with teams of professionals, and it’s about improving their quality of life, not some agenda you and a bunch of other dickheads keep making up. Sorry.
Pope Francis slams Donald Trump for his plan to conduct large-scale deportation raids:
“If it is true, it will be a disgrace, because it makes the poor wretches who have nothing pay the unpaid bill. It won’t do. This is not the way to solve things.”
When I started talking about Oligarchy, many people didn't understand what I meant.
Well, that's changed.
When the 3 wealthiest men in America sit behind Trump at his inauguration, everyone understands that the billionaire class now controls our government.
We must fight back.
