@MosulEye Was in Mosul 2017 when the Al Nuri mosque still stood. Was also there when it came down. Was happy to see when I returned in 2019 that it was being rebuilt. I will return again in a few weeks. Mosul will forever own a piece of my heart.
@jaclynjc2@laralogan Where was the uproar, seriously? You obviously pick and choose, because there was plenty of uproar. With that said, stakes a tad different now that we just lost American blood in this blundering fiasco.
@MosulEye Feel incredibly fortunate to have my ISOF Brothers get back Mosul last year. Good to see people I treated doing well, good to see the al Nuri mosque being rebuilt. Mosul and it’s people will forever have a piece of my heart.
@crnaprobs That’s bad CRNA parenting. My first CRNA in the OR set the table for me, “your done at 5, unless your in a case, then your finished after you give report to PACU.”
@nmonroe916 @CarterPaddy @NickKristof The Police could of trumped this guys foolish choice by continuing to drive on. He posed zero threat. Moreover when his head hit the deck he quickly became a level 1 trauma that needed a Crani. At the very least assess this guy. He’ll be lucky to walk and talk again.
@davidhth@RebeccaShabad@rcallimachi Recently started listening to The Caliphate. I was one of the American Combat Medics working alongside the Iraqi Special Forces, during the Western Offensive in 2017. Not a day goes by that I don’t get locked in thought of Mosul. Well done @rcallimachi
@coalition@undpiniraq I left a piece of my heart in Mosul during the Western Offensive in 2017. Several weeks ago I returned to Mosul, 3 years after one of the nastiest battles I ever took part of. It was cathartic to see Mosul and it’s people rebuilding. 🇺🇸❤️🇮🇶
