Ah yeah... "Good Value". Whenever I see the countless TikTok Videos of able bodied EBT recipients complaining about how "I have 7 baby daddies" and "I haven't worked in decades" I'm definitely thinking of "Good Value". No... I'd honestly prefer if my tax dollars were thrown into a volcano instead of enabling those people's slothful lives.
Also give me a break about "tariffs". I don't like them either, but I for one know that if it was packaged as "commercial taxes" by a Democrat then you leftists would eat it up. That's the difference between someone who treats taxes as a "necessity evil" and someone who wants to apparently celebrate the whole taxation system (not to mention that my income taxes were still lowered under Trump).
@JanmaatKobus@Revolutioig9 Really? Trump buys oil from the USSR? How does he buy oil from a country that hasn't existed since 1991?

I have seen TikTok videos where able bodied EBT recipients complain about how they "have 7 baby daddies" and "haven't worked in decades". I'd honestly prefer if my tax dollars were thrown into a volcano instead of giving a handout to those leaches.
The whole EBT program needs some VERY serious reforms to get these welfare flunkies off the government's dime. The only types of people who should actually get EBT are people incapable of working due to a serious disability.
Jesus Christ you're absolutely insufferable. I never ever tried to argue about Jesus's divinity, only the fact that he actually exists. I've brought up multiple well renowned secular historians who acknowledge Jesus's existence, yet you seem to consider yourself as smarter than the people who are actually experts on history. It is very obvious that you don't actually care about historical accuracy or facts, you only care about shoving your head up your ass and spouting your stupid narratives.
I cannot see any reason to continue talking to you. I'm gonna take some advice from Mark Twain... "You cannot reason with a stupid person. They will pull you down to their level and beat you with experience."
You do realize that Bart Ehrman (the very scholar youโre quoting) explicitly rejects the conclusion that Jesus never existed, right? Like, seriously... The guy wrote an entire book claiming that the "notion that Jesus didn't exist is ridiculous". But it would seem that you cannot be bothered actually reading his book and are instead going to deliberately take a single one of his quotes out of context. Brilliant.
The argument kinda falls apart whenever ya realize that less than 2% of Texan workers actually earn only the minimum wage. It's funny how despite the "minimum wage laws" being so low, most employers actually pay their workers more than said minimum wage... It's almost like employers understand the concept of "competition" in economics.
@teameffujoe I mean... Hassan Piker and Bernie Sanders are also Millionaire Socialists too. But Hassan is a Nepobaby and Bernie is a professional useless person.
@AlanRMacLeod It's not even a "Blockade", it's an Embargo. We refuse to do trade with Cuba, we don't have ships surrounding the island and preventing travel. There's a difference.
The amount of spam replies you have made is REALLY astounding. Like seriously, you can't just reply to me once, ya gotta reply 5 separate times (and also bud into conversations I was having with other people).
I wanna ask. Would you ever put this much effort into apparently "getting one over on Muslims"? Would you go up to a Muslim and tell them "Mohammad never existed"? I mean... I'm assuming not because not only would you be wrong (Mohammad was a real historical figure), but they'd probably also stab you in the face for criticizing their prophet. Yet you constantly attack Christians; probably because you're a coward who only ever attacks a passive religion that won't actually execute you for "blasphemy".
@Mikethewander1@Ernest1588761 Glad to hear some random old gay guy apparently believes he knows more about history than well renowned secular historians.
@the32ndstfool@Ernest1588761 Well I am so glad to hear that some random neckbeard on Twitter apparently believes that he is more historical incite than countless secular historians. Nothing new to me though, I see the same shit on Reddit.
There is a difference between "Believing in Mormonism" and "acknowledging the history around Mormonism". I don't at all believe Joseph Smiths apparent "teachings" and "prophethood", but I can acknowledge that he exists as an individual in history. At the same time... I'm not a Buddist, but I'm willing to accept that Siddhartha Gautama was an actual historical figure. I'm not a Muslim but I'm still willing to accept that Muhammad was an actual historical figure. I can accept that these people "existed" without believing in their divinity.
And if ya don't believe me then how about I list a couple of Secular Historians who did the same... Flavius Josephus was a first century Jewish historian who wrote "Antiquities of the Jews". Cornelius Tacitus was a Roman historian who recounted the "crucifixion of Christus". There are also plenty of modern well renowned secular historians like Bart Ehrman and E. P. Sanders who also acknowledge Jesus's existence as a historical figure. I'm inclined to believe their insights over some Old Gay guy on twitter.
After the Great Fire of Roman in 64 AD Emperor Nero pined blame for the disaster on Christians and ruled Christianity as illegal. Christians in turned face crucifixions for their "alleged crimes" within the Roman Empire for over two centuries. In 135 AD Roman Emperor Hadrian went to the site of Jesus's tomb (which was sacred to Christians) and buried it, leaving a temple of Venus on top of it. The persecution of Christians only ceased in 313 AD after Great Emperor Constantine saw clouds in the shape of a cross in the sky after a major victory and in turn legalized Christianity.
I literally just had to go to Google and type "Secular Historians who acknowledge Jesus's existence" and it gave a list.
But hey, if you're SO CERTAIN that "Jesus didn't exist" then enlighten me. Break down the exact details to how his apparent story was faked. Exactly who made up this fake story about Jesus? When did he make up the fake story? How did he get this fake story to spread so fast? What did he have to gain by making this fake story? Why would thousands of Christians suffer persecution within the Roman Empire (pre-Constantine) for a "fake story". If you can answer those questions for me then I'll accept that "Jesus was never a historical figure"; otherwise I'm instead going to trust these historians.
Are you seriously asking me this right now? I mean... I could list dozens upon dozens of Atheist and Agnostic historians who claim that "Jesus was a real historical figure", but how about I instead discuss other individuals at the time who talked about Jesus Christ.
Publius Cornelius was a Roman historian who discusses the details revolving around the "execution of Christus" under order of Pontius Pilate.
Pliny the Younger was a roman governor who gave testimonials about how a number of subjects "worshipped Jesus".
Flavius Josephus was a Jewish historian at the time who discussed Jesus in his work the "Antiquities of the Jews".
But hey... You are apparently SO CERTAIN that "Jesus didn't exist". So please... Tell me the exact historical events of who made up the story of Jesus. Tell me how this apparent fraudster managed to make the story spread so far. What would this apparent fraudster gain by spreading this apparent "fake story of Jesus". Tell me why most of Jesus is disciples willingly accepted execution for someone who "didn't exist". Tell me why thousands of Christians accepted persecution across the Roman empire (pre-Constantine) for a "man that didn't exist". If you can give me these exact details then I'll accept that "Jesus isn't a real historical figure", otherwise I'm going to instead trust the insight of countless historians (including Agnostics and Atheists).
Ya'll keep trying to claim "Jesus was a socialist" so it sounds like you're constantly trying to compare the modern world to an ancient one too. I mean, ya'll are the ones who keep insisting that if Jesus existed today he would apparently be some Soviet Commissar breaking into a family home and forcefully confiscating their belongings. Ya'll leftists apparently have trouble understanding the difference between "voluntarily being charitable" and "socialist welfare through government coercion".
Alright... How about I throw one on you? You are so certain that "Jesus isn't real". Show me the point in time that someone made up the apparent "fake story of Jesus". Show me exactly how this apparent person managed to make a false story spread so fast. Tell me what this apparent scammer had to gain by making up a fake historical figure who never existed. Lastly, show me why thousands of people accepted execution and persecution within the Roman Empire for a person that "didn't exist". Give me the exact proof when, where and how of this alleged "scam of a fake person" started and I'll believe it.
Like seriously... I'm not a Buddist, but even I'm willing to accept that Siddhartha Gautama was an actual historical figure. I'm not a Muslim but I'm still willing to accept that Muhammad was an actual historical figure. I can accept that these people "existed" without believing in their divinity. And countless atheists and agnostic historians say that "Jesus was an actual historical figure" too. Yet despite all this, you're still have your head so far up your own ass that you cannot accept things that actual historians (including atheist and agnostic ones) have claimed is true.
Well... At least you're acknowledging that your worldview involves state sanctioned violence and coercion to achieve its goals (you'd probably make a good follower of Mohammad).
Although the difference is that Damnation in Hell is about an "absence of God" and an "abundance of sin" within an individual's soul; damnation can be avoided by NOT doing bad things. It's not really the same thing as your local Commissar coming to your household and forcefully taking whatever property they decide; then collectively punishing your family with violence if you don't comply.
@DGFplz@Revolutioig9 Yeah... I actually put thought into my worldview and the logic behind it. If I didn't actually put any thought or logic into my worldview then I could end up having a flawed worldview (like a marxist).
