Asmongold reacts to the Dead by Daylight developers folding under 0 pressure after promoting TheBurntPeanut

"So basically Dead by Daylight promoted TheBurntPeanut and gave him a bunch of skins and everything in the game. People got mad about it and Dead by Daylight was like, we can handle this. We don't care. It's not a big deal."

"What these people have done is collectively gotten together to chimp out over a peanut being accepted by the Dead by Daylight developers. Everybody is crying about this. It's another example of these people that get together and they collectively bully a developer by crashing out on social media for a couple of days, and they make a developer do something differently."

"So they folded under zero pressure. That's basically what happened. This is why I think that we need to be so aggressive against these people. If we're not aggressive against these people, these people will dominate the conversations and they will define the culture because they do jump out, they do crash out."

"Every single hostile, negative, psychotic comment that you guys make, as long as it's not encouraging violence, I'm pretty much in favour of. You guys need to come out and be a lot more outspoken about this, because unless you want to have every single community run by performative drag queens. What these people really care about is control and power. And they are bullies. And until they are made to stop, they will not stop."

"There is no world in which you can coexist with these people. You either have to take the culture back out of their hands that they are trying to define, or you should expect them to define every aspect of your life and culture and then tell you how you need to behave. These people are genuinely a malignant cancer into any community and any area that they touch. They get together and they bully a company like this, and then the company capitulates to them, and then it creates a feedback loop."
