It’s been very difficult to think about it, let alone post about it, but I have to say some words for my late friend, Shaun Glass. I’ve know him for 25 years and it’s hard to remember a time when he wasn’t there.

He would always be there to support whatever band I was doing at the time, or send me new music for whatever band he was in at the time, or just give me the metal gossip of the day. We were just…buddies.

He was such a lovable guy and a lifer for this music and scene we all have dedicated ourselves to. It warms my heart to know how loved he was across this community. My heart goes out to his family for their terrible loss.

I’ll miss you, brother. I hope you’re riffing somewhere 🙏🤘🫶

'It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Philip Anthony Campbell, who passed away peacefully last night following a long and courageous battle in intensive care after a complex major operation.

Phil was a devoted husband, a wonderful father, and a proud and loving grandfather, known affectionately as “Bampi.” He was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be missed immensely. His legacy, music and the memories he created with so many will live on forever.

We kindly ask that our family’s privacy is respected during this incredibly difficult time.'
