I said this 3 years ago. I saw the whole PR stunt pulled online some weeks ago and I just shook my head. May we genuinely walk in the fear of God and not blind loyalty to error.
What I’ve seen is painful, heavily disappointing and against my conscience. Tinubu can NEVER be exonerated. He’s an absolute failure and a refusal to state that clearly calls to question the state of one’s conscience.
These terrorists broke into my mother’s school at night. They broke the walls! My mother hasn’t slept with both eyes closed since then! No one should gaslight me!
I am not a dirty person, so do not add me to this collective.
I have lived in Lagos and on the Island for the better part of my life.
The Island never used to flood when we were kids.
No matter how heavy the rain was, flooding started when Lekki developed and people built without proper town planning.
Whose fault is that? The government.
Now they have added the coastal road and it is worse.
Places that were natural swamps and reservoirs have all been sold and sand filled.
When are we, as a collective, going to demand that the government does its fucking job for once?

This is just my little contribution to getting more Nigerians registered to vote.
Please repost this, share it on WhatsApp, and spread it offline too. The more eligible Nigerians we get registered, the stronger our democracy becomes.
Let's do our part. 🇳🇬
In 2024, my house got flooded. An extremely painful and even embarrassing experience for me. I moved to another part of town in response.
Last year, after driving in water, I had to change the steering rack of my wife’s car.
I responded by swapping our cars into full-on amphibious vehicles to combat this year’s flooding.
I don’t know what other lifestyle changes I’ll be forced to do but what I know is that this is not sustainable in the long term.
If the leadership of the state don’t bite the bullet and initiate long term remediation for this problem, it’s only a matter of time before it becomes a major disaster.
I'm currently open to remote opportunities. If your team is hiring, or you know of any opportunities, I'd be grateful for a referral, recommendation, or introduction. I'm open to roles such as a Content Writer, Content Strategist, Social Media Manager, or Book Reviewer.
Thank you
inflation has a way of making past salary goals feel embarrassingly small. the number you were so excited to reach five years ago is now barely keeping up with the cost of basic groceries
End of June and sadly, I have not even hit half of my 200 cakes target. Not even half of where I was last year. Still, I am grateful to God because I have grown in other ways. Above all, I am grateful to God for how far The Purple Pantry has come 💜
How many people still care about the folks kidnapped from Oriire? For how long will the longing experienced by their loved ones continue?
It’s so tough to keep up with the days. @officialabat#RescueOriire
Nigerians of a certain age group who have not fetched water from a borehole at 5am will make a policy that affects millions of young people, then be condescending when the affected group highlights their bad ideas
Joe Abah's NYSC 6-week thing is an example of this
In the six weeks you spend at the NYSC camp, Anthropic would’ve released a new models and new capabilities. While you’re there being ‘mentored’.
Let the kids graduate and get their lives started. They’re already several steps behind just by being in this godforsaken country.
