Very happy that we: Philippe Plattet (Uni Bern), Markus Seeger (Uni Zurich) and I (Uni Bern) received one of the 28 new Coronavirus grants funded by the National Research Programme COVID-19.
Thanks to this funding, we will be able to contribute in the fight against Coronavirus.
Sonja Kleinlogel hat mit ihrem Team eine Gentherapie entwickelt, die blinde Mäuse wieder sehend macht. Ihr Spin-off erhielt kürzlich CHF 8 Mio. Risikokapital zur klinischen Entwicklung der Therapie. Mehr dazu im #unibern Interview.
This will be (hopefully) the new home of the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine @IBMM_UniBern, with many other Institutes. A very exciting future ahead! We are grateful to the many colleagues who spent days and weeks on this project!
