Move AI

Capture authentic human movement with our AI-powered video-to-3D human motion capture platform.

[Move AI @MoveAI_]

MOVE presented this concept video to the industry back in 2022 rooted in the pioneering work we were doing with EA SPORTS to capture AAA animation data in a full size pitch volume.

We have got this level of fidelity running with 12 Zcams, next step is real-time processing!

Thrilled to announce Jeffrey Ovadya as MOVE's Chief Commercial Officer. With almost 20 experience developing the US commercial strategy and industry partnerships from the ground up with our friends at Vicon.

Lets go invent the future.

With the FIFA world cup upon us here is some of the extraordinary work MOVE did with EA SPORTS that was showcased a few years back at Siggraph. You can watch our presentation together here: https://t.co/5AN2MZJRlR

We have this level of solve now running with multiple clients in full pitch volumes and even althletics tracks with up to 30 capture subjects. Ball tracking has come on exponentially too 😉

We had an awesome time setting up GENESIS in LA with House of Moves. Along the way we did an industry and company first using markerless motion capture with a tiny MOVEr 😃

This is really pushing the lower age limits of the technology but incredible to see how well the solve works and the accuracy here 👇

The solve behind PLAY and GENESIS is identical, the application and use case is fundamentally different. As part of robustness testing of the MOVE markerless solve we have been rigourously testing the software in live environments and with highly variable lighting conditions, light, smoke...basically everything you can throw at the system to try and throw off the solve.

As you can see by the results below from testing done at one of the UKs leading venues, even in super challenging visual conditions the data quality it extraordinary and runs in real-time.

Doing a demo for GENESIS and the markerless solve. Here it is accurately capturing TEN people in a volume of 6m x 6m 🤯🤯🤯

This is pretty astounding, works in realtime and the truth is we reckon the system can probably do double this number. Should we try it ? 😵‍💫😀

Loads more multi person captures to come. For a live or virtual demo, or to experience the system and data quality first hand visit https://t.co/k28EIZrBT4

We have been working on some incredibly exciting innovation behind the scenes at MOVE. Inspired by amazing creative work like this body tracking projection using infrared from Panasonic - it’s an INCREDIBLE watch. We set out to develop a real-time markerless motion capture system fully optimised for live environments, enabling spatial and gestural control linked in real-time to performer movement. It's called PLAY.

Our goal is to enable any aspect of any stage or every live environment to be controlled by the performers movement or position. With the system working with a mili-second delay through any variable lighting conditions and across auditorium, conference or arena size volumes.

PLAY will allow actors/performers/speakers to use movement to gesturally and spatially control:

- Lighting
- Projection (on body, off body, in venue)
- Digital screen content
- Digital/LED screen control and interaction
- Audio
- Interaction and puppeteering
- Pyrotechnics
- Augmented graphics in the background and foreground of live streams (2D/3D/4D)

We are a few months away from formally launching this and very interested in working/testing alongside world class venues who want to understand a whole new world opening up for on stage creativity, delivered by capturing the highest accuracy movement in real-time live. The system can also capture the highest quality motion capture data from the performance simultaneously to delivering the interactive output ! 🤯

Pop us a message at https://t.co/k28EIZrBT4 if you would like to find out more about PLAY and whats coming down the road.

Incredibly excited to show the MOVE solve running on Qualysis cameras. We are getting incredibly high quality data as you can see below.

What this means is our HYBRID markerless solve works instantly (on premise) on any optical system that shoots video. It takes less than 30 minutes to set up. Here is how our HYBRID solution works:

1. Install Genesis on your GPU PC - Download our desktop app from our docs site, NVIDIA GPU required.
2. Import your Qualisys videos - In Genesis create a new project and import the recorded video files from your Qualisys capture.
3. Convert your Qualisys JSON calibration with our custom script.
4. Import the converted calibration into Genesis.
5. Process to animation - With videos and calibration loaded, start processing, outputting the animation in your chosen format

It’s an identical process for OptiTrack duplex and Vicon Vanguard cameras too. Get the industries highest quality markerless solve on any existing optical system that shoots video.

Get in touch at https://t.co/k28EIZrBT4 if you want to test it out for free! This is a major leap forwards to enabling a HYBRID solution on every optical system. 🚀

[Move AI @MoveAI_]

To the operators and technicians out there. We deeply care and respect your talent. It’s the reason why MOVE exists.

The future has never been about markerless v optical motion capture.

It’s all about HYBRID, where the systems, operators and technicians can effortlessly switch between both for the application and use case they need. Our vision is to pioneer this for the industry and beyond that take high quality motion capture everywhere outside the studio. To places where it’s currently not possible. Places where suits just aren’t feasible, just like the recent work we’ve done with Electronic Arts (EA)

There’s a whole new world of movement we want to capture in its true organic form. How humanity MOVEs in the real world.

We are rapidly developing pathways with all the optical companies, who we deeply respect to make this HYBRID vision a reality. One day soon almost every optical system on the planet will be enabled with the best markerless solve out there.

A huge thank you to everyone helping make this happen. @Vicon @optitrack Qualysis > MOVE

Here’s the GENESIS solve being tested alongside the @optitrack Prime cameras.

There are baby steps in the development of markerless motion capture and then there are quantum leaps!!!

This is the first ever test of our m3 model, enabled by the timesync functionality of the latest Zcam model. m3 requires perfect synchronisation, which is delivered by the pixel level synchronisation of the PixelLink feature on the Z-Cam E2 M4S Mark II.

This gives our algorithms the ultimate synced frame by frame ingest. PixelLink also dramatically increases the quality of our real time solve out the box right now. 💪🏻

The m3 model won’t be in production before the summer but it delivers the most extraordinary results we have ever seen. Even with close up occluded contact.

Visit https://t.co/k28EIZrBT4 for a demo of m3 or to see the data below.

Adding the final touches to the GENESIS real time solve before it goes into production. This enables a real time output and a high quality solve on the same system powered by ZCams. Realtime output runs at a 100-150 millisecond latency!

The fidelity and time sync offered by ZCams allows for exponentially higher accuracy, speed, volume and actor numbers to the fleur cameras typically used for real time markerless motion capture. Loads more videos to follow including the integrated Peel Capture workflow!
