📰🚨 The number of UK dairy farms keeping cows indoors year-round has more than doubled since 2015. As costs rise and milk prices stay low, farmers are being pushed towards industrial-scale production.
Factory farming isn’t the future - it’s a failing system.
We need a food system that works for farmers, animals and the planet - not one that traps cows indoors and leaves farmers with no choice.
You can help break the cycle by:
❌ Not engaging with harmful wildlife content online
⚠️ Reporting any cruel wildlife content
🚫 Avoiding captive venues
🦜 Not buying a parrot (or any other wild species) as a pet
Let's keep parrots wild and flying free.
Parrots aren’t pets - they’re wild animals with complex needs that cannot be replicated in captivity.
In the wild, they fly miles every day, form deep social bonds, and live rich, stimulated lives.
In captivity, many suffer from stress, boredom, and psychological distress.
Happy World Otter Day! 🦦Otters are wild animals not pets. Sadly, “cute" otter videos are fuelling illegal poaching & breeding.
Please DON’T support this cruelty 🚫
❌ Don’t share videos of captive otters
❌ Don’t like or comment these videos
⚠️ Report them as animal cruelty
🦦 Sadly, many otter species are under threat due to the illegal wildlife trade.
Life in captivity is no substitute for the wild.
Help make a difference: don't share social videos of pet otters and avoid cruel venues such as otter cafes.

Small everyday actions such as avoiding single-use plastic, participating in coastal clean-ups and supporting ocean protection, can help give turtles a safer future.
Did you know? Turtles have been on the planet for over 200 million years! But many species are now threatened by plastic pollution, climate change, habitat loss and accidental capture in fishing gear. #WorldTurtleDay
After years of being cruelly exploited and forced to perform tricks for tourists, 46 macaques have finally taken their first steps towards freedom.

This is a moment for stronger scrutiny, stronger safeguards & stronger policy action. Wild animals are sentient beings - they should not be reduced to commercial units in a system that overlooks welfare, weakens oversight, and raises growing ecological and public health concerns.
📰📈 New report sheds light on the growing global trade in live wild animals and wildlife products, showing that more than 870,000 live animals were exported from Kenya between 2013 and 2023, with reptiles making up the overwhelming majority 👇https://t.co/rtF984rRuE
A trade system moving live animals at this scale raises major welfare concerns. The findings highlight concerns including stress, injury, dehydration, and mortality, especially for highly sensitive animals like chameleons.
🌍 Animals are essential to the health of our planet. When we protect them, we protect our future.
Let’s work together to keep the Earth thriving for generations to come 🐾
A statement from Peter Kemple Hardy, our Campaigns Director:
“These long-promised commitments are widely supported by the British public and are essential to ending the exploitation and suffering of wild animals for tourism and entertainment."
We urge the Government to ensure that the Animals (Low-Welfare Activities Abroad) Act regulations and the Hunting Trophies (Import Prohibition) Bill are prioritised with a clear plan for implementation.
Let’s make the UK a leader in animal welfare again.
