Ministering in God's Kingdom is exciting, and there is always the enthusiasm to keep working. #Jesus tells his disciples to take a break and relax.
Let us learn to take a break from our 'busyness', and spend time relaxing with friends, family and God.

You are in the world to witness that it is beloved and blessed by God. You are consecrated for the world, which awaits your testimony to achieve a freedom that gives joy, nourishes hope, and prepares the future.

Unfortunate as it may seem, we might be trapped into passivity due to certain unpleasant experiences.
Today, let us hear #Jesus telling us to 'get up' from our inaction, inertia and indolence to an optimistic approach to #life.
Let's ask Jesus to help us rise up.

Truth hurts.
Today, #Jesus is straightforward with his folks, and they were agitated enough to kill him.
It is a good thing that the #WordOfGod disturbs our complacency. That's how he renews us. How we react to it speaks of our relationship with the Lord.

[Pope Francis – ARCHIVE @Pontifex266Arch]

Do not judge, Christ tells us. How many times do we not only pass along gossip or rumours, but consider ourselves justified when we are harsh in our judgement of others. We can be indulgent with ourselves, but inflexible with others.

[MumbaiSalesians @mumbaisalesians]

The disciples wake up #Jesus yelling: Master, do you care? We are drowning!
It is relatively easier to trust Jesus when all is well. But our #faith is tested in the storm, and not when all is calm.
When the #Lord is with us, he will never let us d(r)own.

🪴 Losing it

† Losing the sense of sin is thinking we can do anything
† King David lost his awareness of sin as he schemed & killed Uriah to get his wife
† We need Prophet Nathans to challenge our comfort of the loss of the sense of sin

His mother said to the servants, 'Do whatever he tells you.".....Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water." John 2:5-7

We are invited to participate in Jesus' miracles but first we must do whatever He asks. Turn to Mary for guidance, today.
