@Itssan17 It’s a good movie but again who has $15 a ticket for a family of 4 that’s $60 in this economy on a movie that might be good. I loved supergirl but it suffered against obsession being out and Toy Story 5 taking the kids share from the box office.

@FroggyBakes but whoever did shouldn’t have gone against you story. They also maybe should’ve moved it up once obsession started going nuts or pushed it back. Idk hard to say on that one because pushing back could’ve made it worse.

@FroggyBakes They genuinely fumbled the bag here with the release because Spiderman was being anticipated and the economy is terrible. The assumption is it’d be on streaming in a month so just wait. All these combined made it flop. I genuinely don’t know who decided the release window

Upset or underdog story. This season and regulations haven’t been great but @F1 continues to ruin the experience over and over.

It would be really cool if @AppleTV would show drivers other than Norris,Hamilton, and verstappen during qualifying. Pierre gasly starts a mighty lap in Q3 and they show us the McLarens because you know that’s what real fans want is to see the front runners and not a possible

@PopcornPost_ 7/10 it was an extremly neat concept and very well done. It ends on a wonderful huge reveal that pulls the whole story together. I unfortunately think it ended up being over shadowed by incredibles 2, Jurassic world, sicario, hereditary,Tag, and Ocean’s 8

@RehsaDSirhC I used to have regal unlimited but I’m a teacher now and work from 7:30AM-5:30PM Monday-Friday. Decided to cancel my unlimited subscription. My nearest AMC is like 2+ hours away. Regal took the whole market basically where I live. We have 4 regal theaters and 2 other ones

@Itssan17 Some of the showings at my local theater are still sold out for Spiderman. This doesn’t mean Spiderman is ultimately the winner if just be curious to compare it to total number of watches. Also no movie will stay in theaters for 8 months these days.

@Itssan17 In 1997 there was no way to stream or watch movies other than VHS or the theater. So it’s going to have higher ticket sales. I’d wonder how many people are waiting for streaming, pirating it(I’m sure there’s a good rip somewhere) or waiting until the hype goes down.

@aderayo_xo1 The gauntlet would’ve stayed there if he’d have snapped himself. It’d be the same effect as getting the stone from vision after he was destroyed. They’d have just reminded the moment. Thanos knew what he had to do to ensure he won.

@aderayo_xo1 Thanos spared himself to ensure no one could use the stones to undo what he’d done. We watch Buckies gun drop and not his arm. He then used the stones to “destroy” the stones. If he hadn’t the stones would immediately still be in play and they’d undo it immediately.

@CHICOx58 I used to work at the largest regal in the whole company and I had talked to an old friend who’d said they did the most ticket sales ever in a day post COVID. Like by thousands of tickets, people wanted to see Spiderman return more to his roots

@CHICOx58 When the last Spiderman movie came out they had “dynamic pricing” and black outs. So a ticket would cost $15 or $16 instead of $14 at peak times and then it would be $11-$14 the rest of the time. It’s now $15-$31 for a ticket. Double the price of one in 2021

@garycwarren It was a packed theater too. I still have yet to have a good experience seeing it yet. Maybe I’ll get to see it one day and actually enjoy it.

@garycwarren My first experience I saw it with my brother and mom on opening night at a drive in and they asked questions the whole time. My 2nd experience was exactly the same as yours. Family with a bunch of kids went to a 10PM show and played on their phones and talked on them.

@MugenLord To understand doomsday which is 2.75 hours. That’s absolutely absurd. That’s just counting Loki. If I watched every marvel show it would be 20 days 8 hours nonstop. Thats way too much time for tv shows that are super mid

@MugenLord I watched it and like almost every Disney show it had one or two great episodes at the end and the rest sucked. I’m part of the way through my doomsday watchlist and if I were to watch just Loki the whole way through it’d add. 9.5 hours which is 4.4 movies.
