@stolmeier@77Macb Can you imagine the emotional pain having to give your child away would be? Do you really wish to inflict added pain on a girl or woman who was already raped?
@PaulErikcpaul@77Macb Assuming you have children from your photo, can you imagine the emotional pain having to give your child away would be? Do you really wish to inflict added pain on a girl or woman who was raped?
@kurtulmak@77Macb Im so sorry! I too endured abuse. I don’t think people understand (1) when a child isn’t wanted, they feel it (2) when theres abuse in a family structure, that child will experience it and (3) adoption is not necessarily what an abusive, dysfunctional family would choose.
@jennifermcfarl4@MrPettyGang@77Macb Exactly my point- “there weren’t healthy babies to adopt-“ and yet you assume that a baby from an uncle raping a niece will be genetically healthy, let alone the emotional impact the child would have knowing they are the product of rape.
@jennifermcfarl4@77Macb Really? They would’ve felt okay about any permanent physical harm done to the 12 year old mother’s body for giving birth? For her added emotional trauma? For the child-a product of incestuous rape-that could have genetic defects as a result? Are your friends really that selfish?
@CATE_California Thank you so much CATE for giving me this amazing opportunity to help provide insight and skills that can help kids that may be having a rough time at home! So grateful!
@PhantomPhan@tearsofwiney@quakerraina I agree, but do think some comments have an undertone that smaller is better. When we have stories of ‘I was called fat and I’m not even fat,’ that implies that it would have been okay had they been. Many aren’t aware of their own fat phobia which is why it helps to point it out.
@BKellyGorman@quakerraina I know the objective truth was that your sister was not plus size, but highlighting it in this way just shows her own subtle bias, as if the comment would have been okay had she been. We all have work to do to unlearn fat phobia
