@factoriogame suggestion change, whitelist, and blacklist to allowlist and blocklist in the English translation. Let’s just say in the states we have historically had an issue with these terms. https://t.co/hSAj9qwkUb

@CobraRollBass@ErinInTheMorn To be clear, the “quasi adult” ban I am referring to is the band for nurse practitioners to provide transgender healthcare to adults.
@CobraRollBass@ErinInTheMorn Same goes for me, but according to the court opinion, the youth band is only currently blocked for the individuals referenced in the lawsuit. As far as the quasi adult ban last I heard there wasn’t even a case, filed for it yet to attempt to block it.
@Kovaxz@ErinInTheMorn I agree. But as someone that travels for work regularly, this implies that these states are now safe which is nowhere near case. Reporting when status of these cases changes including temporary blocks is good, but making it sound like it’s permanent is unconscionable.
@hasrock36@ErinInTheMorn Pretty sure somethings unconstitutional, and actually being unconstitutional are two different things. With repeal’s and the Supreme Court, it is likely years if not decades before any of these court cases are decided permanently.
We have an internally displaced political refugee crisis in the US over anti-trans laws.
Between 130-260k trans people have already moved states.
An additional 1.3 million are considering fleeing.
If trends continue, countries like Canada should prepare to accept some.
We're one month away from @QConLondon, March 27-29 (in-person and online).
The full lineup of speakers and topics is really exciting.
I'll be there, speaking about Leveling Up Your Architecture Game.

@Stacy_Cash I love my loop earplugs for this kind of stuff. I just wish we didn’t have to deal with this kind of stuff but at least we have a way to cope.
