M-Pulse Fiber LLC was formed in November 2019 by MCEPA to improve the lives of their electric consumers by also providing the opportunity for internet access.
During our board meeting, a check presentation was made to the Create Foundation from TVA. This money will, in turn, be given to Hatley Park and Recreation. They were awarded $10,000 through a match between the CREATE Foundation and the TVA Community Care program.

We will have a maintenance outage that will affect customers out of our Smithville fiberhut. This will occur Wednesday, February 9th at 12:00 am (midnight) for a short amount of time. This will affect people in the Hatley/Smithville/Amory area.
On Wednesday, April 7th beginning at midnight MPulse Fiber will have a scheduled maintenance window from 12:00 am until 6:00 am. During this time there will be brief outages to our fiber customers but we expect service to be fully restored by 6:00 am Thursday morning April 8th.

Monroe County Electric Power Association is pleased to announce that our cooperative will be the recipient of an $8.1 million grant from the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) for the purpose of broadband expansion to our members.
Crews have began this week the important step of installing fiber drops to the homes of the nearly 300 people who have signed up on our first circuit of fiber installation. We are excited about seeing this project finally come to life or “light” as the fiber people call it.
