This guy bashes people for eating butter on keto. Shames people for doing keto the "wrong" way. Then describes coconut oil as "the ultimate food to have on a ketogenic diet." Dude, make up your mind.

@ifbacongrewont1@mixon_bridget Zero biological benefit? It has fat and protein. Calories the body uses for energy. I acknowledge there are downsides, but it certainly has nutritional value.
@0Kacie Right on! I couldn't sustain anything else either. In college I tried just eating less calories and swimming. Always grabbing for snacks. Maybe 5 pounds of weight loss. Keto has been very sustainable and has gotten me way healthier.
@SarahBear07 @blikethecheese @meggggmarie @GinaNixonHerna1 It may not be sustainable for a lot of people. But I'm approaching 5 years and have no reason to quit in sight. Caloric deficit is important, even on keto, but just eating less calories never worked for me. Always hungry and grabbing for snacks. All my organs are fine.
@SarahBear07 THIS! I see people obsessing over ingredients lists. "Sugar in ingredients. Not keto." Amounts matter. If it was too much sugar it would be reflected in the nutrition. Macros are king.
@mixon_bridget@RiveraEdTeach Well if my brain is dead at least my body is in the best shape it's ever been in. Well... After I get rid of that holiday carb binge. 😆
@RiveraEdTeach@mixon_bridget Gotta love that "your brain NEEDS carbs" schtick. In my first year of keto I had exactly two cheat days. If my brain absolutely needed carbs to survive wouldn't I be brain dead by then?
