Been a busy term since September but glad to have made it to Christmas in one piece, hope everyone has a lovely festive season! Merry Christmas all βπ
Another year is complete and my first in UKS2. I've loved every minute and spending it with my class of 2 years was so special. It was so sad saying goodbye to them this afternoon but I know they are ready for the challenges ahead. 4 years down many more to go!
Coming to the end of the year and it's nearly time to say goodbye to this class that I've had for 2 years. They are more than ready for Y6. I will miss each and every one of them.
A lovely message in the local paper means the world to me. I can say my job this year is complete β€οΈ
What a brilliant discovery day at my old high school. Felt special taking my current Y5's to a place that holds so many memories. A nostalgia trip with some time to catch up with old teachers. It was Lovely to be able to thank them for everything so many years after leaving
Triple crown of residentials complete π
Year 4,5&6 trips all boxed off for the year. 3 amazing trips. 3 totally different experiences but memories made for all the children. Can't wait to do it all over again next year. ππποΈ
For now, time to catch up on some missed sleep π΄
Last day of the half term break.
A few reports written but a quiet day today before the busy return of 2 sports days and Y6's residential next week. All systems go from minute one
What a week in Y5. Class residential to Liverpool was amazing, over 2 days visiting the Cathedral, Walker Art Gallery, World museum, Museum of Liverpool & watching the Life of Pi at the Empire theatre. A memorable experience for staff & children. Time to catch up on sleep now tho
Chris Atkins, who is a teacher at St Alban's Catholic Primary School in #Warrington, is running the #LondonMarathon2024 for Tourettes Action.
Today the school held an awareness day and the pupils participated in a mini marathon and others became TA running heroes. Well Done!
Back at it tomorrow. Charity day on Friday in support of my London Marathon fundraising, parents evening next week, the big run a few days later and a class residential all to fit in before the end of April. Busy return who'd have it any other way?
Christmas break is here π Decided to take home our class travelling crib for the break after it had been been round everyone's homes. Ready to stop and enjoy the break! β
There are days in teaching where you laugh, cry and want to bang your head against a wall and then there are days like today, where you stand back and just love the job ποΈ #adventure#outdoor#fun
