A great opportunity for 6B to extend their knowledge of electrical circuits this week. The 'scribe' sets provided by @BAESystemsplc use a conductive ink to connect different components and allows children to doodle circuits on paper.

We’ve been getting to explore some of the Apps on our new iPads this week. Using the @BookCreatorApp, children are researching and then creating their own ebook about an African country.

This week's writing focused on selecting vocabulary to create mood and atmosphere in a spooky setting!

We looked at haunted houses, ghastly gates and then used the short film 'The Ghosts of Pere Lachaise' from @LiteracyShed to narrate the opening of a short story. 👻

Thank you to Mr Laheney who paid us a visit this morning and explained the virtual open evening that Furness Academy are hosting. The atmosphere in the room suggested that it suddenly felt real!
