#rwpaY2 have enjoyed being scientists today. We predicted where daisies would grow best in our school grounds using our science knowledge and then tested to see if our predictions were right by measuring and tallying in different areas of school #rwpaScience#patternseeking
The STEM continues in #rwpaY2, we have been coders in #rwpaComputing. We had to use our logical reasoning and prediction skills. We created simple algorithms so the blue bots could follow a route and then we had to de-bug it to see where the mistakes were. #resilience
I have given myself less than a month to train for and complete a Half-Marathon on behalf of IntoUniversity! If anyone would like to donate, please visit my Fundraising Page. https://t.co/fxIT12Yv8p
#rwpaY2 loved our outdoor learning today for #rwpaScience. We explored the school grounds trying to identify as many plants as possible from our identification sheets. We loved being in nature and plant spotting! @mrsdpriscience@eboractrust

We loved exploring the work of the "Mouseman" today in Art. We used our chromebooks to think about his work, how it was made and how it made us feel. We enjoyed spotting his signature mice! #rwpaY2#rwpaArt

In Science, year 2 built houses for the three little pigs. We used prediction skills, recorded our results in a table and evaluated which material was the best. We really enjoyed our teacher using a hairdryer as the big bad wolf to "huff and puff and blow the houses down."
Itβs Tuesday and it hasnβt rained! π± Tonight it was year 5/6 football practice after school with the non-bibs just coming out on top. Great teamwork on display ππ»
