Although not a part of the curriculum, do you think that it is important to teach middle school students about bias when teaching them about government standards? #WestCBMS

A2: For me, I don't have a lot of knowledge about possible tech to use in my classroom. Both of my mentor teachers had both been teaching for almost 30 years, so they didn't use a lot of technology. I would benefit from PD in innovative technology to use in my classroom! #mschat
@isteamprof What is your opinion on this statement? I understand what the tweet is trying to get across, but personally, I feel that creative thinking can be used in any subject area regardless of whether the arts are being used.
Why #STEAM and not #STEM? What is the real value of integrating the arts, creative thinking and what was traditionally called ‘the humanities’ into educational technology? Read our blog post to find out:

A4 I think it's important to talk about every aspect of wildfires & not just climate change. Along with climate change, one needs to explain how they can start naturally, how humans can start them (arson, cigarettes etc.), & the effects they have on humans and wildlife.
As educators, we should constantly be striving to learn more and improve our practices. Instructional rounds provide a great and safe opportunity to recognize areas we want to improve and gain insightful feedback from peers. IR can even be used in an I-STEAM setting! #STEAMTEAMS
Right. Instructional rounds are teacher-driven, not admin driven. The teacher getting observed determines the problem of practice they want to work on, and the observers provide descriptive, low-inference feedback. From @brewerhm’s RELENTLESS. #822chat#CrazyPLN#teachbetter
