When my brother was 22, he shocked everyone by marrying a woman nearly twice his age. He insisted he was in love. The rest of us were convinced he was chasing her wealth.
For years, family gatherings were tense. He stopped visiting. My parents refused to speak about him.
Then one winter evening, he appeared on our doorstep alone.
The luxury car was gone. The expensive clothes were gone. The confidence was gone.
"I need somewhere to stay," he said.
I thought his rich wife had finally realized what everyone else already knew.
But when he sat down and told us why he left, we discovered he hadn't been trapped by her money.
He'd been trapped by something far worse.....
The British establishment have all ready covered this new Banksy up.
Can we get it Retweeted 10,000 times to show that they can never cover up their complicity in war crimes??
Protect the right to protest! RT!
The amount of brainless idiots who fell for this is quite staggering.
1. The church hasn't been a church in over 20yrs
2. The fire was started by 2 local white teenage boys
3. The father of 1 took his son to the police station
4. IT WASNT MUSLIMS.
HAPPY TO HELP.
@andreajenkyns Wow, so given the tax allowances the one facing a £40m tax bill will be inheriting around £201,500,000.
Still getting a massive tax break, because if his family made widgets, the tax bill would be £80m
In case you missed Trump's press conference, he essentially just blamed this tragic air crash on a mentally impaired ATC, diversity quotas, Obama and Pete Buttigieg. He then said dwarfs shouldn't be allowed to be air traffic controllers. He then says that it's likely the helicopter, which had a visual of the plane, was at fault all along. Blatant politicising with a few easily demonstrable lies just hours after a terrible tragedy.
I've almost missed him.
Tim Farron, "The unpleasantness about this debate is only matched by the lack of proper information" #BBCQT
"85% of refugees settle in the country next to where they come from"
"The French take 3x more refugees than we do"
"The Germans take 4x more refugees than we do"
"If you put us back in the European Union, we are 19th in the league table when it comes to the number of refugees we take per capita"
"Do we need deterrents? Yes. The best deterrents is competence. If we assess people when they arrive - and they are not illegal immigrants - they are people seeking asylum.. From Sudan.. Afghanistan.. Iran.. Syria.. 90%+ turn out to be genuine refugees"
"If we have a competent government, and we haven't had one, let's see about this one.. And you assess them quickly.. And return the ones that are not refugees"
"That is your deterrent"
"Rwanda was a waste of money.. If they spent that money on case workers we could have processed these people, returned the ones that weren't refugees in a humane way, and let th eones who are genuine refugees, become British, pay their taxes, be part of our country, and we should be proud to admit them"
Very well said @timfarron 👏
Rishi Sunak appears to say, "For f*cks sake"
After Keir Starmer says, "We have to rebuild a country that is fit for them (young people) to live in and realise their aspirations and their dreams, and I'm determined we will do that"
Please only RT this is you want more people to hear what Rishi Sunak really thinks about young people
