In some cases, for decades. Three of us combat veterans. You say it a lot. But you've never served. So I take great exception to you saying that.”

🚨A new Wall Street Journal investigation just confirmed what many Pennsylvanians have been saying for a while: John Fetterman doesn’t want to do his job.

In June, three paralyzed veterans rolled into D.C. from rural Pennsylvania for a long-scheduled meeting about improving their care. Fetterman’s staff canceled, telling them the senator wasn’t feeling well. Less than an hour later, he strolled into his office looking perfectly fine — for a softball Fox News interview.

Last September, Fetterman skipped a funeral for three police officers near his own hometown in York County. When told the service would run three hours and required formal dress, he reportedly called it a “nonstarter.” This is the guy who sells himself as a defender of police from the “dirtbag left.”

He also blew off a busload of constituents from a flood-prone Philadelphia neighborhood, brought to D.C. by state Rep. Anthony Hardy Williams to talk about Trump’s cuts to a flood-relief grant program. Fetterman walked right past them. Williams put it bluntly: “He was available. He just chose not to meet with us.”

The pattern holds in the Senate itself. Fetterman skipped 11 of 12 full committee hearings last year across Homeland Security, Commerce, and Agriculture. When told Chuck Schumer’s office was setting up a call for all Senate Democrats in March 2025, his response was: “I truly don’t care.”
Meanwhile, he’s found plenty of energy for Israel advocacy — reportedly offering to publish an op-ed built on talking points from the Israeli ambassador, a plan his own staff shut down over Foreign Agents Registration Act concerns.

Fox News regular. Meeting with constituents and attending police funerals? Too much of a hassle.
