These angles shows exactly how devastating the situation in Nepal was. Stones and bridges… even humans were swept away like it was nothing. You might shed a tear watching this
@Fattishi@zach_seyko I mean all Campbell has to do to be as good or better than Franklin is pull in top 15 classes. Let's give him more than 6 weeks to put a class together and then see what he can do. He's also having to make up for Franklin's abysmal development at certain positions.
@BlueskyLibs@_Classical_Lib_@KanekoaTheGreat "Limited Scope: The hearing is not a mini-trial or a method for the defense to conduct deep investigative discovery or challenge unlawful evidence acquisition."
@BlueskyLibs@_Classical_Lib_@KanekoaTheGreat I've been involved in a multiple criminal cases where my main defense was to have evidence thrown out. The first thing I asked once my lawyer told me the strategy was why we have to wait to go thru the prelim trial before making my case. That's just how things work my guy
@BlueskyLibs@_Classical_Lib_@KanekoaTheGreat "Defense attorneys rarely file motions to suppress evidence (like claiming an illegal search) during the preliminary hearing. Instead, they cross-examine the state's witnesses and analysts to highlight weaknesses, expose contradictions, and prepare for the actual trial."
@BlueskyLibs@_Classical_Lib_@KanekoaTheGreat At this point is obvious you've never been involved in a criminal case, been called as a witness, or possibly even been in a court house before. There's steps to everything and they aren't at that step yet. I'm really at a loss for words now..
@BlueskyLibs@_Classical_Lib_@KanekoaTheGreat I think it contribes to there being a reasonable doubt about the events of that day. Which is what this is really all about right? Convincing a jury of his peers that he did it, beyond a reasonable doubt.
@BlueskyLibs@_Classical_Lib_@KanekoaTheGreat As I've been saying all afternoon the next big step in this case will be an Evidentiary Hearing on a Motion to Suppress. What the defense moves to have suppressed will tell us a lot about where this case is truly heading.
@_Classical_Lib_@BlueskyLibs@KanekoaTheGreat Im not sure how you keep coming up with that narrative? I've never once claimed or even speculated that is the case. I do believe the feds are in on something. I also believe the D is just trying to do the best they can with what's in front of them.
@_Classical_Lib_@BlueskyLibs@KanekoaTheGreat It's not as easy as I was hoping to pull it up and share from my phone and I'm not currently at my PC but that should point ya in the right direction
