I was born on 8/8/81. I had a friend growing up who was born on 8/8/80. I was gutted when I turned 7 on 8/8/88 and she turned 8.

Just found out that she will turn √2025 in 2025 when I will only be √1936.

When will those with power realise that our education system is in crisis. I am not seeing this as a priority for any political party. Ignorance, denial or impossible to fix?!

For the avoidance of doubt, teachers are not on strike.
It takes more than teachers to operate a school.
This isn't just about those in the job being ridiculously underpaid but the fact that there is a critical understaffing problem due to underpay and poor working conditions ..

The inclusion policy is great in theory but is stretching PSAs so they can't function effectively. They are having to upskill as specialists for all kinds of needs. They get paid hourly for short days but many work beyond and don't take breaks as that's when kids need them most

@MathsDotScot @brynspiration I answered this question when I sat SG credit. It wasn't difficult but it did test pattern spotting and mathematical thinking. Most importantly it was a satisfying puzzle that made me want to do more.

“Overall, the proceedings were so formulaic, it would be unsurprising if they were written by an AI algorithm. Devoid of reasoning and problem solving, we are in danger of producing a generation of algorithm followers.”
