@AwakenedOf@Tired_ofit_All Have a look at Lancashire Lamb boxes online. They are a family run farm that supply ready butchered meat boxes of beef, pork, land and mutton direct to public across the whole of the UK . Different size boxes available
@748_407 @ev_madness The game changer is to add solar panels and home storage batteries, you can then charge for free from your solar or overnight on the cheap $0.12 tariff
@7Kiwi Restaurants add at least 100% mark up on their food. Wholesale prices take no account of the costs of running a business, staff, offices, NI etc etc
@RussInCheshire Fertility rates are falling over much of the world. It really looks like there will be a period where most people don’t live as long as they do now.
@Dr__Sarmy One difficulty is, starting where we are (and assuming we are not going to search abroad and steal their medics), it just takes a lot of time. The political system always favours short term-ism (show what has been accomplished over the term in office.
@van_dam67759@JacobAlley21@DrNeilStone Surely the fact autism was recognised in 1988 does not mean that all GPs and medical professionals immediately started diagnosing it correctly 100% of the time, instead relying on previously used stereotypes?
@BowTiedTurismo@JordanEVGuy You really have lost the plot. You said nobody is buying what EV fanboys are selling. We are promoting the advantages of buying and running EV’s, I provide details of increased EV sales.
@BowTiedTurismo@JordanEVGuy How exactly have I proved point? You said EVs aren’t selling. The SMMT figures prove otherwise on new sales and used sales rising. Even auction prices of EVs are going up.
@BowTiedTurismo@JordanEVGuy Except of course the number of new EV sales is rising each month as clear thinking families appreciate the large fuel savings to be made. Buying a used EV means the initial depreciation has already been incurred by the first owner.
@SecretPhysician@pa_StephenNash Not commenting on the individual, but if a medical PA career is advertised and understood by the individuals taking up such posts, it must be incredibly frustrating to suddenly have your career effectively destroyed.
@rgencio@TjDawson22@SunShine33finds@JamesAB999@GigaBasedDad And you are misinterpreting data. The countries you mention and more, have an abundance of low cost energy (hydro in Canada and Norway, oil in UAE, Dubai, Qatar) so efficiency is not as important to the user there.
@vibrantdad Built in obsolescence, how else can companies sell more and more product each year and this aim to meet their stockholders demands for profit at all costs?
@rgencio@TjDawson22@SunShine33finds@JamesAB999@GigaBasedDad That is energy consumption per capita inc offices/factories not households useage (remember this thread is from the earlier one about the amount of energy US households need to run AirCon and the OP statement that solar is effectively pointless in this regard).
