Hi @MarcusRashford I’m hugely proud to teach 5 Rashford. You are such an inspirational figure (even to the city fans!) and they are so excited to have their class named after you. Our school is in one of the most deprived areas of GM so your campaign has made a real difference
Congratulations @lemnsissay on being recognised in the Queen’s birthday honours list 👏👏. However, class “5 Sissay OBE” is a bit of a mouthful so we’ll keep it as it is if you don’t mind 😊
Hi @lemnsissay. Our class has been studying inspirational mancs during BHM. We have a high number of looked after children @SchoolRosehill and your success has shown them that they can go on to achieve great things in life even if they have a difficult start 👍
Hi @MarcusRashford you’re one of the inspirational Mancs we’ve been researching for black history month. Our school is in one of the most deprived areas of GM with a high % of kids on free school meals. Thank you for your tireless work. It’s made a huge difference to them 👍
Our Black History Month work was inspired by the @MENnewsdesk article: Black, brilliant and Manc. Such interesting stories and inspirational people. My year 5 class is already named after @lemnsissay and as a red I had to get @MarcusRashford in there too!
Our first maths sessions are all about cementing our understanding of place value. Here are some of the children working on greater than / less than and equal to.
Hi to all the parents and carers of 3H. If your kids are anything like mine were at primary school, then you probably don’t get too much out of them when you ask them what they did at school today? This will hopefully offer a small window into what we do each day 👍
And today we ‘rounded’ off the year with a game of rounders against 3KG on the field (See what I did there 😂😂) At least that’s the last rubbish joke you’ll get from me ! Have a great summer and thanks for all your thoughtful gifts 👍🍺
