@jjackwatto What I can’t get my head round is
1) that any sensible Sunderland fan would think that being in Europa league would give them more pull than Newcastle.
2) that any sensible Sunderland fan wouldn’t have clocked the financial fair play implications of their big spend last season.
@SAFCPaddy Agreed. Silly. Slams had a better season that us and currently have the bragging rights. Clearly, most players would still choose Newcastle over Sunderland but that’s only really

@ChrisScheve A lot of stuff on this but the basic question is surely given it is World Cup should this referee be able to officiate or not? What’s your answer
@shanehagan24 Do you go to St James park a lot then? You seem to know an awful lot for someone who surely can only have been once in the last 5 - 10 years

@RichySouthern Being a prem club means you can compete with most teams in Europe in terms of wages and transfer fees (excluding maybe top 2 or 3 in the top leagues). So the Bournemouth/ Brighton model is great if the aim is top 10. Not a good model for top 6
@adamboxer1@mrshowell24 Agreed - when I was an nqt we were told we had to use partner talk at least 8 times a lesson. Arbitary tick box which didn’t improve teaching at all.
@ProudlyPastoral Completely agree - on the headline you think a ban seems harsh and then you read the article and think - why wasn’t that the headline?
