Today begins my second battle with cancer. After 45 radiation treatments in 2023 I was pronounced in remission. Unfortunately cancer doesn’t know what that means. Men if you are over the age of 45 please get your prostate levels checked I had zero symptoms before my diagnosis.
Yesterday morning during the wind storm, my nativity scene became a casualty of the gusts.
I had a busy day and didn’t have time to set it back up plus it was still blowing pretty hard so I thought to myself “I’ll just take care of it when I get home tonight”
I came home and lo and behold there it is back up and in proper position.
I thanked my son - but he didn’t do it… I asked my wife and she didn’t do it… Evidently some random person decided to set up baby Jesus Mary, and Joseph in the manger because they saw the significance of it
It’s the only outdoor Christmas decoration I put up each year. I used to string out lights and everything else, but I realized a long time ago that it’s not about the lights, it’s not about the decorations, it’s about the birth of our savior, humbly laying in a manger
So to the person who stopped by my house and set up my nativity scene again, thank you for caring so much
This weekend, the 8th annual @Fortegra Invitational will be at @BollesSchool. Some of the best teams in the area will play in this year’s 4 team event. You can also catch the action on @1010XL and @ActionNewsJax.
@firedcoaches Correct me if I’m wrong - but doesn’t the rule say “leave the bench to come onto the field”
It should be relatively simple to take a look at a screenshot of the play that starts and count the 11 players that are on the field for defense because they did not leave the bench
