@shannonconways I thought it would be a bit more interesting than the real story about how I rammed a shopping cart into the back of your ankle at Whole Foods, and when I offered to take you out to dinner to apologise you backed away slowly, looking for a security guard.
@shannonconways Mid-May at Hotel Gustave, Paris. I checked in as you were checking out. "Any recommendations?" I asked. "Yeah, coffee with Shannon at Le Castle." We sipped latte's, watching people queue excitedly for the tower. We shared our life stories, abridged. Then, too soon, you were gone.
@JessieIngold I always do it anyway, and at this point we're probably gonna be in a degree of lockdown in November so I should have more time than ever to do it. How about you?
@BirdWithABrain I think I set my target at 30k. I'd like more, but I haven't even finished roughing out my plan yet, so I'm not sure if I'll be ready to start for a couple of days.
@megancrewe I guess I'm a morning person if I have to be one or the other, but that's only if I have to do something. I can just as easily laze in bed til noon if I have nothing to get up for.
@NathanaelSmith It's worth pushing through to see if you get into it. I really enjoyed it the first time I read it, but going back for a recent re-read, I struggled.
I'm already thinking about what I'm gonna do for #NaNoWriMo this year. Must be the furthest in advance I've ever thought about it. Anyone else thinking that far ahead yet?
