I think effective teachers are not driven by the standards; theyโre driven by the needs of their kids. They understand the curriculum and they teach what is required but itโs always in the context of understanding where their students are, and what it takes to move them forward.
I've had a few requests for mean, median, and mode. Also, some requests for just how to find average.

Here is the average (mean) video! Mean, median, and mode all together in 1 video will be coming soon. โณโณโณ Hope this helps!! ๐โ๏ธ

Itโs good to teach your students the curriculum, critical thinking, and creative problem solving. But donโt forget to teach your students to have a good handshake, to look people in the eye, and to be considerate of others. In the long run, those things might matter more.
When I walk into a school, and it becomes obvious to me that the adults enjoy working there, I immediately suspect it is a good place for students. Strong staff morale reflects a strong culture... and thatโs an environment that is good for kids... and their learning.
