A5. I think the most important part of Digital Citizenship is for students to understand that they are responsible for what they say and do online. Those statements never go away. They need to treat online settings like an in person community #wuedt6035
A4. There are so many extensions from chrome that help students with certain disabilities access in the internet more effectively. Additionally, teachers cant contact their tech coaches in their district has them. #wuedt6035
A3. Open resources can play a global role in my classroom by allowing students to gather information on their own using resources and news cites that are not based in the U.S. #wuedt6035
@stacy_mcmullen Plus there are so many errors and a lot of bias in many textbooks. James Loewen published a book about all the errors with textbooks. #wuedt6035
A2. There are so many Open Educational Resources out there for us to utilize. Many effective. Why re-invent the wheel if it is already working. My favorite resource is https://t.co/tTvfVkc4UT #wuedt6035

@SrtaMagana Hey Diana, If I could use VR in a class I think it would be most beneficial to use in Social Studies. Learning other cultures is critical to have a global perspective. What better way to have students gain understanding than to have them "live" in a certain place. #WUEDT6020
@stacy_mcmullen Hey Stacy, great question. My roadblock was finding time to convert my physical materials to online. Some documents I had to type up and create. I worked through it and now feel as though instruction is more structured and focused while using @Schoology in class. #WUEDT6020
@tinsleysandy1 Hey Sandy, My school already offered professional development on using @nearpod to take students on virtual tour of places across the world. I would love to hear more about advantages of using VR in the classroom and be able to bring it back to my administrators. @WUEDT6020
@cnc67 Hey Cami,
Using mostly Schoology in my district. What are some of the benefits from using Google Classroom over using Schoology? What are the benefits and drawbacks of each? @WUEDT6020
@stacy_mcmullen @Flipgrid @nearpod Stacey, I know and have used @Flipgrid . However, I only have heard of @nearpod, never used it. What is the most beneficial use of neapod? How often do you use it in class? @wuedt6020
@Honeal_2001 Hey Heather, I also tell my students to hashtag their subjects/topics that they need extra support with. Some students need coaching to how to search effectively, but it opens the door for a great lesson on internet searches. #wuedt6020
