I’m going to be honest. I’m a huge fan of policing your own. MLB does it. NHL does it. NFL does it. The only way to get players to stop acting like idiots, is to let them know when they are. If a team is going to constantly flop and foul bait, then you may as well get your money’s worth. I’d love to see more of this in the NBA. It’s the only way things are going to get cleaned up. Obviously, the league isn’t going to fix it.

The word "intense" was used a lot this spring to describe practice and the shared mentality of Ben Johnson and his coaches. That carried over to Day 1 of training camp where the 1st team offense got thrown out of a drill by Johnson during a drill when they couldn't get lined up properly. We saw that intensity on defense, too, when Dennis Allen had his players doing up-downs. Allen: "You have to pay the price. It's a privilege to be in this defense."
